Helen Shipton

Helen Shipton is Professor of HRM and Head of Doctoral Programmes, at Nottingham Business School. Helen’s research interests centre on HRM, workplace learning and innovation and she has recently co-edited a book entitled Human Resource Management, Innovation and Performance. Helen is a member of the British Academy of Management Council and UK ambassador for the Academy of Management (US). This research was carried out by Nottingham Business School PhD researcher, Silvia Pirrioni, and was co-supervised by Professor Helen Shipton and Dr Ning Wu, senior lecturer in human resource management.
