Matthew Connell

Matthew Connell is the Director of Policy and Public Relations at the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK. He has worked in banking and insurance for more than 20 years, with a focus on financial regulation and welfare reform. Previously he was Head of Regulatory Developments at Zurich UK Life and Chairman of the Investment and Life Assurance Group. He holds a PhD in Policy Studies from the University of Warwick.
