Rebecca Berry

Rebecca joined Stevens & Bolton in 2019 after working at a regional firm. Rebecca enjoys advising businesses and individuals on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious. Her experience ranges from advice at the outset of the employment relationship, in drafting employment contracts and policies and considering employment status, through to advising on termination. Rebecca also supports corporate and commercial colleagues on the employment aspects of transactions, including TUPE. She has particular experience in advising the recruitment sector on issues such as the implications of the 2003 Conduct Regulations, AWR and IR35. She also often assists senior executives in the negotiation of the termination of their employment. Rebecca has experience of Employment Tribunal litigation, both for Claimants and Respondents, including in relation to claims of unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, discrimination, employment status and contractual disputes.
